Wayne State M.B.A. students may pursue a concentration in Sport and Entertainment Management. The Mike Ilitch School of Business is uniquely positioned to educate M.B.A. students with the support of Detroit's major teams and entertainment venues. Critical challenges, such as how to attract and retain the elusive entertainment consumer, how to build a franchise to maximize wins and profits, and how to manage events that highlight an organization's core mission will be explored in the 36-credit, 21-month sport and entertainment M.B.A. cohort.

The program is led by Professor Scott Tainsky, a widely published expert in the field, and Senior Lecturer Tamme Quinn Grzebyk, who offers a wealth of professional experience as well as academic expertise.
