Undergraduate business degree requirements

Undergraduate business degree program requirements include: 

Business students should consult an advisor for specific information on satisfying these requirements and ensuring any selected courses are consistent with academic requirements of the business school. Course descriptions can be found in the WSU Undergraduate Bulletin.

You can choose to earn either a B.A. or B.S. in any Mike Ilitch School of Business major. The only difference is that the B.A. has a foreign language requirement; the B.S. does not. 

Business general education requirements

All undergraduate business students are required to take the following general education courses, regardless of their major, unless otherwise noted. These requirements are specific to the business school. Each course is three credit hours unless noted otherwise. Students are responsible for observing all prerequisites.

Note: ECO 2010 and ECO 2020 are both required to fulfill the business foundation course requirements.

All undergraduate business students are required to take the following business foundation courses, regardless of their major. Each course is three credit hours unless noted otherwise. Students are responsible for observing all prerequisites.

Undergraduate business students are required to take the following core courses, regardless of their major. Students are required to have a minimum 2.50 GPA to enroll in 3000 level or higher business school core and major courses. Each course is three credit hours unless noted otherwise. Students are responsible for observing all prerequisites and limitations.

You may elect to complete two business majors at the same time. To double major, incoming students can select two majors on their admission application. Current students can complete a change of major form.
