Meet Anthony Pellegrino

High School: Grosse Pointe South
Hometown: San Antonio, Texas
Major: Management, Double Minor, Psychology and Latin Studies
Wayne State has had a definite impact Anthony's life.
Originally debating between entering into the military or attending college, Anthony made the choice to attend Wayne State. "I found the business school and management to be the best route I could have taken because of the leadership and organizational teachings they provide. This would be beneficial if I decide to enter the military as an officer after college and eventually run my own restaurant when I am older. When I came to Wayne State, my perspective changed for the better, and I became greatly interested in community involvement to give back to Detroit and Wayne State. Now I am also considering law school."
Majoring in Management with a double minor in Psychology and Latin American Studies, Anthony has definitely kept busy over the course of his time at Wayne. He is currently residing as CEO of the Business School Senate for his second term, an active member of the Pre-Law Students Association and El Salon de Nuestra Cultura, and the former Vice President and President of Wayne State's University Tower Hall Council.
With an additional two business plans in the works, Anthony is already well on his way to success.
"I'm working on two ventures right now; two companies that are recently being started. The operations agreement for one was just recently signed." He is a partner in the first venture, and is currently working with a fellow classmate to develop the second. Anthony is also a Sauté Chef of three years at Traffic Jam and Snug where he practices for the day when he can open his own small Italian restaurant.
As he finishes up his undergraduate career, Anthony plans to continue working on his business ventures, while deciding on his next step. "[Working on business plans] gives me the time to seriously prepare for law school and the LSAT. It gives me a year to study and work on the companies."
