Advising

Our advising staff helps current and prospective business students with academic issues or questions they have. Your advisor can help you choose a major or concentration, select classes and prepare for graduation. We offer separate advising offices for undergraduate and graduate students.

Appointments are required, but walk-in advising is available on Tuesdays at the Midtown Detroit campus for quick questions, signatures, etc. Undergraduate students are encouraged to make advising appointments online.

Who is my advisor?

Undergraduate advising is handled by the Undergraduate Student Services office. Undergraduate advisors are assigned based on students' majors. Find yours here.

Graduate advising is handled by the Graduate Programs Office. Click here for graduate advising.

Where and when can I meet my advisor?

The best place to meet your advisor is at the Undergraduate Student Services office or the Graduate Programs Office in the Prentis Building on our Midtown Detroit campus.  However, you can get advising services at any of our campuses.
