School of Business welcomes new career advisor

The Career Planning and Placement (CPP) Office has announced the hiring of Maurice Traylor as Career Advisor, effective September 28.

Prior to joining the WSU School of Business, Traylor worked in several areas of student support within higher education, including serving as the student engagement specialist at Marygrove College in Detroit, where he oversaw all activities associated with Student Life.

Most recently, Traylor served as the career services coordinator within the Career Education Center at University of Detroit Mercy, where he facilitated the development and administration of all resources related to career services including advising for current students and alumni, academic programming and managing employer relations.

Maurice Traylor is a graduate of Wayne State, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He has also earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
