When it comes to learning, a hands-on approach is often the best way to go. That’s why we partnered with a local classroom to give students their very own hands-on learning opportunity. During the fall semester, four student teams in Dr. Beltramini’s Principles of Advertising class consulted for Adcraft PM. We gave the class a brief and asked them to come up with creative ways to make young professionals aware and involved with PM.

To meet these objectives, the students did research to gain insights about our target market. Then they used their insights to create a media plan. Next they prepared custom creative—we saw everything from online videos to art for out of home advertising. To top off their integrated marketing communications plan, the students also put together promotions.

As the semester came to a close, each team went head-to-head and presented their proposals to a panel of Adcraft Club judges. The Midtown Consulting student group came out on top. Their plan was simple, easy to execute and gave us the most options with the lowest expense. Kristen McCarty from the winning team said "it was a great experience consulting for Adcraft PM because it gave me valuable insight into working with a client in a real world scenario, as well as a sneak peek at the some of the great events the organization hosts. I had a ton of fun while meeting great people in the industry and gaining skills that I can apply to my future career in advertising."
