Wayne State business school welcomes new members to its Board of Visitors

The Wayne State University School of Business Administration is proud to welcome two new members to its Board of Visitors (BOV).  The new members are:

Kevin Jappaya
President and Owner, KJ Commercial Real Estate Advisors LLC

Kevin Jappaya is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 10 years of experience in helping clients achieve their real estate goals. After spending eight years at the Thomas A. Duke Company, Jappaya established KJ Commercial in 2013. By establishing his own firm, Jappaya seeks to provide clients with a full service brokerage designed to be inventive, strategic and ever-evolving.

Jappaya is an active member of the Chaldean-American Chamber of Commerce where he is a past vice chairman. He is the current vice chairman of the Chaldean Federation of America and is a past chairman of the Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Jappaya is also involved in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and Commercial Board of Realtors (CBOR).

Jappaya earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2002 from the Wayne State University School of Business Administration. He was the 2014 recipient of the school’s Emerging Leader Award. In 2013, he was included in DBusiness magazine’s list of "30 in Their Thirties."

Wesley Pandoff
Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller, RML Automotive

Over a successful career that spans more than three decades, Wesley Pandoff has developed a long track record of transforming and developing organizations, implementing innovative process improvements and delivering superior results.

Pandoff currently serves as an executive at RML Automotive, which consists of 35 automotive franchises and two Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealerships across the South Central, Southeast and Midwest regions of the country. RML was recently ranked 22nd on the Automotive News annual list of "Top 125 Dealerships in the U.S."

Before joining RML, Pandoff worked for 16 years at Ford Motor Company and 14 years in retail automotive at Auto Nation and Sonic Automotive.

Pandoff earned a B.S. in accounting in 1981 from Wayne State University and an M.B.A. in finance in 1991 from the University of Detroit-Mercy. He was the 2012 recipient of the WSU School of Business Administration’s Distinguished Alumni Award.

A resident of suburban Charlotte, N.C., Pandoff is active in several charities, including Speedway Children Charities and the March of Dimes.

About the BOV

Board of Visitors members serve at the invitation of the dean of the School of Business Administration. Their role is to advise and support the dean on the strategic direction and advancement of the school.
