Requirements for Marketing Major
Those pursuing bachelor’s degrees must complete the university’s general education program.
Undergraduate business students also must complete the required business foundation and core courses.
All students admitted effective Fall 2009 and forward are required to have a minimum 2.50 grade point average to enroll in 3000 level or higher business school core and major courses.
In addition to all the above requirements, marketing majors choose or create a specialization and complete the required courses.

Each course is three credit hours unless noted otherwise. Students are responsible for observing all prerequisites and limitations. Details are available by clicking each course link.
Advertising/Marketing Communications
This specialization provides foundational knowledge and promotional expertise applicable in many professional settings.
It is designed for those seeking careers in marketing communications, advertising, or positions requiring promotional acumen.
Note: MKT 6996 to be taken after specialization requirements or during final semester in program.

Marketing Management
This specialization provides broad exposure to the marketing management discipline.
Students can fine tune this specialization to focus on specific industries like health care, sports and entertainment, and more.
